Effective July 16, 2026 · Black Market Concepts, a brand of Ropes & Stanchions LLC (Texas). Questions: contact us.
What we collect
- Event RSVPs & tickets: name, email, phone, party size, and ticket/check-in status — this is how your ticket works at the door.
- The List membership: name, email, password (stored hashed — we can never read it), phone (optional), and birthday (for birthday perks; never shown publicly, never shared with venue staff).
- Points & visits: which events you attend and the points you earn or redeem with each venue on our platform.
- Payments: handled by Stripe (cards) and Coinbase Commerce (crypto). Card numbers never touch our servers.
- Promoter & table requests: whatever you submit — contact info, social handles, your pitch.
- Technical: cookies for login sessions, attribution (which link brought you), and analytics/advertising measurement.
How we use it
To run events (tickets, door check-in, reminders), run The List (points, tiers, perks), process payments, respond to inquiries, credit promoters, and improve and market what we do. We do not sell your personal information.
Who touches your data (service providers)
Stripe (payments) · Coinbase Commerce (crypto payments) · WP Engine (hosting) · Cloudflare (security/CDN) · Postmark (transactional email) · Google (fonts, analytics, ads measurement) · Meta (ads measurement). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
What venue staff can see
Door staff scanning your ticket see your first name, ticket status, and — if you are a member — your List number, points, tier, and redeemable perks so they can honor them. They never see your email, birthday, or the guest list.
Your choices
- Update your name, phone, birthday, or password anytime in member settings.
- Ask us to access or delete your data via the contact form — we respond within 30 days.
- Ticket emails are transactional; marketing emails include unsubscribe links.
The fine print
Our events are for adults — this site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. We keep data as long as your account or our legal obligations require. We may update this policy; material changes get a notice on this page. Governed by Texas law.
